For those of you who plan to accept child/youth program registrations early in the New Year, or accept registrations in the new year, we’d like you to be aware of a program to assist Redwater residents who are struggling to pay for children programs.
Child Youth Program Subsidy
Did you know Redwater families with low incomes or who have extraordinary living situations that would affect their ability to pay for child and youth programs may apply for a subsidy?
· Qualifying families may receive a maximum of $175.00 per child per calendar year to a maximum of $400.00 per family per calendar year.
· Applicants will be encouraged to pay an affordable portion of the program fee.
· Applicants must have exhausted other resources and must not have received a subsidy for the Program from any other source.
For more information about the program, for application forms or to donate to the subsidy fund, call the Town of Redwater Community Services Department at 780-942-3519 x25 or visit www.redwater.ca/residents/community-programs/program-subsidy.
