Important Concussion session (fixed link)

Hockey Alberta is going to do an online live session for the Redwater minor hockey association on concussion safety November 26 at 7pm. This session is for parents, coaches and athletes and is 2 hours. For those interested please register using the below link and an invite will be sent for the meeting. For those of you that would like to attend but can not make the live meeting on Thursday Nov 26 please send me a message and I can get a link to the recorded session sent from hockey Alberta. Coaches and managers: please ensure someone from your coaching staff is in attendance at this meeting. If possible all safety persons from each team should attend. Also the session targets coaches, parents and athletes. We should encourage players to attend. Concussions are one of the biggest issues in sports. Knowledge on the topic is the biggest tool we will have to keep our athletes safe and healthy for lifetime participation in sport.
