Time Box, Score Keeper, Manager, Coaching, Jersey Parent, 50/50 and Home Game Board are NOT considered fundraising. These are day to day team expectations and all parents are be involved.
50/50 Boards are a key to Redwater Minor Hockey. The monies raised by the 50/50 boards, and selling game day 50/50 is solely used to pay for referee's.
All 50/50 paraphernalia are located in the shelves outside the old concession ( at the end of the dressing room hallway, out the door to the left, and around the corner to the left)
50/50 game boards, sheets, numbers envelope and cash bucket are needed. Square are sold for 1 for $3 or 3 for $5. These are to be done at each home game. Deposit slips need to be filled out and dropped (coin free if possible) in the drop box under the north stairs. Please have your sellers indicate on the deposit slip the team that the 50/50 funds were sold for and remember to leave the white copy in the deposit book. If it is an exhibition game or tournament game, do not fill out the deposit slip as the money is used to pay the refs after the game.
The 50/50 game boards must be left in the bin and the winner must be tracked in the tracking sheet which is on a clipboard.
To replace the monies from the Home Game Boards the Cash Calendar will be used (see Fundraising for details)
Each team has a board of 100 squares divide between how many players on each team. Each square is $20 each and parents are to pay for the square before we can start drawing winners. Parents can either put their name on each of the square for a chance to win their money back, or sell to the public. Draws are made at 10 home games each season, with a chance to win $25 at the end of the 1st period, $25 at the end of the 2nd, and $50 at the final. Numbers are randomly placed on 2 sides of the home game board square, and the score at the end of each period, decides who wins.
